What Inspires You?

I was thinking tonight about inspiration.  (I am a pretty deep guy and I spend a lot of my down time thinking of ways to improve myself and society.  Or possibly a character on CSI said something that triggered this thought.  You can decide which is more accurate.)

So…people sometimes get inspired by different things.  Some people see a beautiful painting and are inspired to paint or whatever.  There are certain songs and songwriters that really inspire me to play and create music.  I’m not particularly inspired by paintings or photographs or books.  I like good photographs…but I don’t really feel anything when I view one.  Sometimes I am also inspired when I read or hear about inventors /entrepreneurs and their creations. It has yet to lead me to create my own business or invention.

What about you?  Is there something that truly and deeply inspires you?  What does it inspire you to do?
