Book News: Author Fight!!!
February 9th, 2009Superauthor Stephen King thinks Stephanie Meyer “can’t write worth a darn”. OOOOOOOOOO BURRRRRNNNNEEEDDD!!! For some reason Stephen King was talking about J. K. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer and it is pretty obvious how he feels. From The Arizona Republic:
“Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. . . . The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”
I’ve never read a book by any of the three people involved in this…but I’m guessing that Meyer’s target audience is severely different than King’s. I highly doubt it will have much of an impact on sales.
