Book News: Lauren Conrad will be an Author
September 16th, 2008Lauren Conrad is apparently one of the “stars” of the TV show The Hills, a reality show about life in Bevery Hills (I think. I’ve never seen it.) Conard just signed a 3 book deal with Harper Collins. From The Montreal Gazzette:
All three (books) will be what’s called young adult fiction, about “a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show.” You can see she has lots of imaginative reach.
Heh heh. That’s funny.
Anyone out there watch this show? Any thoughts on how awesomely awesome these books are going to be?

I have to admit the show is one of my guilty pleasures, but writing a book? I’m skeptical. At least the target audience is appropriate.

I am a fan of reality TV, but this year had to give it up so that I could read more. When is the book expected out?

I. HATE. REALITY. TV. Has our world become so stupid that there is nothing better to do then watch stupid people make fools of themselves? I’ll never understand the point.
