Letters on Pages Has Moved!

First I want to thank everyone who visits and subscribes to Letters on Pages. I am having a lot of fun doing this and I hope you are getting some good book recommendations…or at the least somewhat entertained by my reviews.
This past week I made a significant change on Letters on Pages, though almost all of it was on the back end. Previously I was using Blogger as my publishing software. Blogger is a really nice program and is very simple to use, but it has some limitations to it and I couldn’t do everything I wanted to do on it. So I have changed over to WordPress, which is just another publishing program…but one that is more professional on the backend.
I am now hosting the website myself (through Go Daddy). This means the only way to access Letters on Pages is http://www.lettersonpages.com. The old Blogger/Blogspot address is no longer valid…so update your bookmarks to reflect that!
The transition went pretty smoothly and the only significant problem affected those who subscribe to the feed. When I moved my old posts over to WordPress it assumed the latest group were new. This meant all the subscribers got the “new post” notices again. Otherwise it seems to have gone well.
Aesthetically, everything should be the same…apart from a charcoal background that I think brings out the main page better.
On a semi-related note…I want to encourage you to participate in the reviews in the comments section. Have you read the book I reviewed? What did you think? Are you going to go get the book? Are there books that you would like me to review? I would really like to see more of that as we grow the site together!
I also want to encourage anyone who is not a subscriber to click on one of the links in the upper right. You can either subscribe via e-mail or though a reader. This guarantees you will be notified when I make a new post…so you never miss a post!
